As the new year approaches, I am ready to set some goals and intentions for 2024! Before I do that, I’d like to reflect on the past year. I think it’s been a really good year overall, of course like any year there’s always some not so great things but nothing I haven’t been able to overcome.
Some of my most cherished memories of this year I have made are with my favorite people, the ones that make me laugh, upset me, make me feel loved, cared for, and sometimes a little triggered lol. I wouldn’t change it for the world because they are what make every year a wonderful one. During this year I traveled a bit. Nothing too crazy or places that are beyond exotic but still exciting and much needed trips. I visited Colorado, Washington, and took a few road trips here in Texas. Traveling has definitely been the highlight of this year so I’m sharing a few of those moments!
Washington DC was a fun trip. It was a sister trip to The Office Experience which was so awesome! They had the set up just as it is on the show. There were also a lot of props that completed the entire set up. Unfortunately, I don’t see that they have it available in any cities currently but definitely check their website to see if they come to a city near you.

Texas road trip and a weekend in Denver! Never underestimate a weekend trip, a breath of fresh air in a different place is always great.
I didn’t travel for this but it’s too good to not mention. Candlelight Concert was by far one of the best things I have been to and cannot wait to go to another. We attended the Taylor Swift tribute at The Lone Star Flight Museum. The violinists sat in the middle and the chairs circled them, candle lights all around them filled the dark museum, it was magical! If they are in your city, I would recommend checking them out.
