All Time Favorite Nighttime Skincare

Over the years I have experimented with different skincare products. From moisturizers to cleaners, eye creams, oils, toners, and serums. I have finally landed on a skincare routine and products I’m happy with. My skin tends to be more on the oily side and living in Texas you can count on the heat making it even worse. So, it’s important to have great products that help keep my skin happy.

For about a year or so I have been double cleansing and when I say game changer, I mean it! It has helped keep my skin clear and radiant. At the moment I’m using Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil. I’ve always tried to steer clear of oils because my face is already naturally oily, but I made an exception. I really love how gently this is on my skin and how easily it removes my makeup. After I cleanse with the oil, I go in with another Kiehl’s product, the Ultra Facial Cleanser. This removes any makeup that I didn’t get with the first cleanse.

After I have double cleansed, and my skin is squeaky clean I start applying all my products. I start with Laneige Cream Skin, this product is wonderful because it’s a toner and moisturizer, two steps in one, yes please! A more budget friendly option is Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist, not a toner but it does have Hyaluronic Acid and Black Oat Extract which is anti-inflammatory and moisturizing.

The INKEY List Caffeine Eye Cream is the next product I reach for. It’s lightweight and helps with puffiness which I almost always tend to have along with my under-eye bags which this also helps with!

Once I have taken care of my undereye area I use one of my all-time favorite products, Keihl’s Ultra Facial Cream. It’s really helped my skin stay hydrated and smooth. One of the reasons I’ve repurchased this cream several times is because it can be used for day and nighttime.

Last but definitely not least I use a serum or oil on the areas that are a bit dry. I recently purchased Merit Great Skin Instant Glow Serum and have been loving it. I have actually used it on its own to, my skin had a healthy glow! When I don’t use Merit’s Serum, I reach for Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate. It has a light lavender scent that is beyond relaxing and soothing, just what I need after a long day.
