– Plain Button Ups –
1. relaxed fit cotton poplin shirt with jewel buttons – the buttons on this shirt are so great, definitely gives any outfit a nice touch.
2. chest pocket denim shirt – I have way too many denim shirts, but they’re always a classic staple to have in your closet.
3. flowy satin effect shirt – I really like this shirt because you get the silk like fabric but without paying silk price lol.
4. linen blend boyfriend shirt – linen is great for spring/summer and I always have to make sure I have a black button up on my closet.
– Stripes –
5. relaxed-fit cropped cotton poplin shirt – J.Crew always has the greatest options for button downs. I really like the contrast of the white cuffs and collar.
6. oversized striped shirt – Old Navy also has wonderful options. This striped shirt comes in three other colors.
7. classic-fit cotton poplin shirt in stripe – another one from J.Crew, I’m loving the pink and red on this shirt!
8. striped satin effect oversized shirt – last but not least on stripes this black and white shirt from Zara, with the satin fabric that looks very comfortable.
– Florals –
9. satin effect floral shirt – I know what you’re thinking, this looks like a print you would see on an old couch lol but it’s so pretty!
10. floral ruffle neck relaxed portofino shirt – this is my favorite shirt in the floral section. This shirt is not as in your face as the first option but still a fun shirt that you can wear to work.
11. printed flowy shirt – another couch shirt? yes, why not lol. The colors are not bright and loud, but the print is still a statement that would add a special touch to an outfit.
12. green floral print oversized shirt – I’m not normally the type of person to reach for a shirt that has bright red on it, but this is a really good compromise of having that bright color but not overwhelming.
Snoozing my alarm one too many times is something I’m guilty of. I’ve mentioned in a previous post that I like to have blazers to make my morning routine easy when I’m running late. Just like a great blazer makes an outfit look put together a button up does the same thing. These are just a few of the shirts I have in my carts.
