Hi everyone! I haven’t posted in a while. I will try my best to keep posting. Today I’m sharing my February favorites. There’s a bit of skincare, makeup, clothes, and a random monitor. I mentioned a few of these items on a previous Weekend Recap post. Check it out if you haven’t!
serum / polo / sugar mask / coat / lip & cheek tint / portable monitor
I didn’t do a lot of shopping last month which is a good thing, I truly need to cut back on letting stores tell me what I think I need lol. So, I’ll jump right in with the Olay Serum, I LOVE this serum! It has really helped keep my skin moisturized, supple, and have a healthy glow. I sound like a broken record but living in Texas it’s hard to plan for how the weather will be one day to the next so it’s important for my skincare to really do what it claims to do.
A polo is just like a button up. It can be dressed up or down, I really like the white contrast trim and the fabric of this shirt. I’ve paired with a simple denim flare, straight leg jeans, a blazer, and more combinations. It just works really well and makes it easy to reach for when I don’t know what to wear.
There are times when I forget to repurchase something I know I really like. That happened with this sugar scrub. I’m glad I repurchased because it is so great. I like that it’s not a harsh mask, it doesn’t have a strong scent and its affordable.
The next favorite is a coat that I was not looking for but found at Nordstrom Rack. I had been looking for a brown coat but stopped searching because I couldn’t find one that fit me well until I came across this Topshop one. The length is just right, it’s not too long and not too short. I like that it has some weight to it and doesn’t flop around when it’s windy out. It came in handy in Pennsylvania – that’s for another post.
Another favorite is this lip and cheek tint from Relevant. I had never heard of this brand, but I definitely want to try other items from their line. I got the lip and cheek tint in the color Lychee. It’s a nice coral color. I like this tint because I can use it on my cheeks and lip, and it lasts for several hours.
All I have to say about these jeans is that they are very comfortable and hit right where they’re supposed to. Sometimes petite still doesn’t fit right on the length so it’s really nice when they do!
Last but not least, is a portable monitor. I recently traveled to Pennsylvania and worked while I was out there, so I needed a second monitor. This one is incredible. It has several cords to fit the laptop you need. It’s a very clear picture and I didn’t have any issues while using it.
