Blue October – need I say more? Blue October is a rock band from none other than Houston, TX. Growing up my brother would listen to their songs specifically Into The Ocean, and that’s when I started listening to them. Their songs can change a bad day to a great one for me. This was my first time going to one of their concerts and it was an absolute blast. I had such a great time and almost lost my voice from singing so loud!
Before the concert started, we went to the Post Market Food Hall. They have several options to pick from for food, drinks, snacks, and pastries. We chose to get burgers from Johnny Good Burger. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it here, but I am a picky eater. The burger was good but wish I would’ve gotten it without their special sauce, which is made with mustard, not my favorite. On a good note, the fries were delicious!
After we got done eating, we got a few drinks and then headed to the 713 Music Hall which we were able to get to from the Food Hall, pretty cool! We made a few t-shirt purchases and then made our way to our seats. The venue was not very large, but you also didn’t feel like people were squeezed in together in the seats. They also have a bar on main level and second one if you’re looking to buy drinks before or during the concert.
They sang several songs and time just flew by in the blink of an eye. I wish they would’ve sung for another hour! It was a great night with the girls, and I can’t wait for the next concert!
